After an impressive breakthrough season in the SPFL, Liverpool are set to make a move for Aberdeen left-back Calvin Ramsay.
According to Express Sport, the full-back could be purchased for as little as £3.5 million this summer. Jürgen Klopp was pleased with Kostas Tsimikas’ performance as Andy Robertson’s understudy last season, so it’s unclear what role Ramsay will play at Liverpool next season.
As a result, the 18-year-old could be on the verge of a loan move. The Scottish defender has only made 24 appearances in the Scottish Premiership, so Liverpool may want to give him more senior football experience before trusting him to challenge Andy Robertson.
