Serie A: Osimhen beat Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic to win U-23 Player of the Season
Victor Osimhen of Napoli has been awarded Serie A U-23 player of the season.
The 22-year-old beat out Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic and Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca for the title.
The award rankings were determined using Stats Perform’s sophisticated analysis of tracking data gathered with the Hawk-Eye System.
This allows for an objective and qualitative evaluation of a player’s performance by analyzing essential characteristics such as movement without the ball, ideal movements, game decisions, and contribution to the technical and physical efficiency of the team.
This is Osimhen’s second Serie A honor, having previously been named player of the month for March.
