Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales has been dismissed, according to talkSPORT.
He was sacked over his inappropriate behaviour at the Women’s World Cup final.
World football governing body FIFA opened disciplinary proceedings against the 46-year-old on Thursday.
Rubiales grabbed his crotch after Spain beat England 1-0 to win the FIFA Women World Cup.
He then kissed Spain forward Jenni Hermoso on the lips during the trophy celebration.
The decision to sack Rubiales came after immense political pressure within Spain.
But at a press conference on Friday, the football chief insisted he is the victim and has been ‘socially murdered’.
Speaking at an extraordinary general assembly that was called this morning, the Spanish chief was adamant his kiss with Hermoso was ‘mutual and consensual.
He then repeatedly shouted ‘I AM NOT RESIGNING’, despite a replacement already being lined up.
