First-half goals from Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech saw Chelsea cruised to a comfortable victory over Middlesbrough in FA Cup quarter finals clash on Saturday.
Lukaku opened scoring in the 14th minute after tapping in a brilliant cross from Mason Mount.
Moroccan midfielder, Hakim Ziyech doubled the Blues’ lead in the 31 minute to make it 0-2.
The second-half of the game failed to produced any goal as the both sides played defensively throughout the remaining minutes.
The Thomas Tuchel’s men will face Brentford in next match on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
Meanwhile, Kemi Filani News earlier reported that Chelsea have been drawn with Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final fixture.
The full fixture list for the last eight are: Chelsea vs Real Madrid, Manchester City vs Atletico Madrid, Villarreal vs Bayern Munich and Benfica vs Liverpool.
The winner of the Chelsea/Real Madrid will play the winner between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid in the semi-final.
