#KFB Only God Could Have Done This! I was earning less than 100 dollars a month

 

Hi Kemi, happy new year, this column has been a blessing to me and i want to share this testimony of mine too. 

I bless the name of the Lord for the salvation of my soul. He delivered me from self destruction. 

All
my life to this moment, l have been struggling. I am a twenty five year
old man. I lost my dad when l was 2 years old. I thank God for the
different  contract works l have done to cater for my later years in the
Primary school and through my secondary school education. I was always
doing night shift.

While doing all these, l was still able to help some of my friends financially. 

Later
in life, after our secondary school, we went our different ways.l
continued doing my different works. That is, when one contract ended, l
would begin to search for another.

We
now met again, my friends. They  pitied me that l was still at same
level. I could not further my education, though l had my WASCE papers. 

I do go to church but l did not know if l could stand for Christ.

I
am saying  this because temptation came through my friends. They
wandered how l could still be earning less than 100dollars a month-i.e
N15000. 

Within the years
we lost contact, my friends had been exposed to crimes of different
shades-from bank fraud to internet scams. They do not work in banks but
when they go, they make around N350000 a day. 

I
was introduced to it and l followed them to a bank in my area. Because
of the training they have  imbibed in me, l planned to make an easy
money from such outing. 

Truly,
l got a would be victim. But l want to believe that the grace of God
was heavy on me not to perform the enterpise.l had almost duped the
woman of her Western Union transfer money.

When
we got outside and they saw that l had no ‘catch’, l was heavily
rebuked.They on their own made a great day.l was left alone.

That
was how l was led to the house of  a mother in Israel.l could not tell
her the battle l was facing. But glory be to God as l was there watching
the Christian TV  with her, David Ibioyemi was now preaching. For the
30 minutes he was to use, he caught my attention, dwelling on the
friends one keeps. That they can make or mar you with a lot of Bible
references.

That is why l
say l thank God for the salvation of my soul.l had to confess to the
mummy. She in turn counseled me and prayed with me. She gave me some
Christian books.

Now, God
is moving. I had been advised to start something with what l know to do
best 6months ago. I was postponing it to the first quarter of 2015. I
wanted to make more money before that.

But the Lord is working on me asking me to start now.

I am free, free from what would have been self inflicted destruction. 

I
have  no fear. I have peace within me. The Scripture that  says, ‘What
shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul’ is
more apt here.

I am free from any hunting shadows

I
have given my life to God in a special way. Church alone can not help
man especially the youth of now a days except the Holy Spirit is given
free hand. He kept me from falling. It was not easy. To see your mates
living larger than life and sometimes giving you money from their
‘work’. You will want to be shown the way. The last one l was given was
like an abomination in my life, l was very ill and had to spend all and
mine on curing the ailment. Thank God He bailed me out. My life is in
HIS hand. ‘ A man’s life does not consist of the abundance of what he
has’. 

I thank God HE put HIS fear in my heart so that l would not sin against HIM. 

My prayer is that HE will make me stand to the end.
