You see, Bisoye and Chigozie Obasanjo had known each other for 10 years. They
met in Abuja while still in school and since then became inseparable.
Bisoye Obasanjo on narrating their love story said “It all started from church, House of God and from there we hit it off. And we thank God we are here today as a married couple. I saw something special about her. We have been friends for 10 years and
you know what I mean. She is a special lady regardless of her origin. I have always known from the start that our relationship will end in marriage and she has never disappointed me in that regard.
Adding to his narration, Chigozie Nwenyi said “He is very kind-hearted and God fearing. Very humble and down to earth. Maybe that was what actually made me love him. I was in school when we met in Abuja, I am now a business woman.”
On their cultural difference, she said
“That is not a factor when it comes to love. He is very nice, very funny
like his dad, kind-hearted and those are the attributes I want in a man.”

Btw, Some of the children of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo were absent at the wedding.
Conspicuously not at the event were one of his favourite daughters, Mr.
Iyabo Obasanjo and her brother, Gbenga Obasanjo.
