Ojude Oba literately means the kings’s front-yard. It is an annual event
when the citizens and well wishers of Ijebuland pay homage to their
king (The Awujale of Ijebuland).
Fixed on the 3rd day of Ileya festival
because many Ijebu citizens (Muslims and Non Muslims) often travel home
for the Ileya festivals…even though the event has become very popular
and big that many now go home for Ileya because they don’t want to miss
