Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, has dismissed speculations that he was involved in an accident along the Airport Road in Abuja on Monday morning.
The rumours went viral on social media along with short clips from the accident scene.
However, Osinbajo’s spokeman, Laolu Akande, has given details of what transpired.
Akande tweeted: “On his way to the airport this morning, VP came across a road traffic accident, stopped to lend assistance, and ensured victim was taken to the hospital with VP’s convoy ambulance.
“He then proceeded on his trip and is now in Ondo State heading to site of yesterday’s attack in Owo.”
