Some police officers as well as some operatives of the special anti-kidnapping squad (SARS) have reportedly caused a fatal accident while chasing a young boy which they mistook to be a yahoo boy
According to reports, the officers in a bid to catch up with a suspect of internet fraud caused an accident within GT Bank in Asaba.
Eye witnesses state that the police officers were chasing a Toyota Camry car driver who they mistook for an internet fraudster known as ‘Yahoo Boy’, sadly, the hot chase led an accident involving the tricycle rider and the four passengers
The victims have since been admitted at Federal Medical Center Asaba receiving treatment.
The officers who took the injured victims to the hospital were made to take care of the bills.
