Yinka Theisen, the ex-wife of Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, has reacted to those who attacked her for using her ex-husband’s name.
She shared a photo of herself and her ex on her Instagram page, and she said that despite being divorced, she has the utmost respect for the father of her children. She made it known that anyone who insults the father of her children indirectly insults her, and she wouldn’t tolerate such.
Yinka described her ex as a great man and revealed they have a cordial and beautiful friendship, which isn’t negotiable. Yinka added that stupīd!ty is when one compares people when they don’t know them.
“Yes, I kept my last name after I divorced years ago. While I am divorced, I have the utmost respect for the father of my children. If you insult the father of my kids, you insult me, and I have never tolerated it. He is a great man, and we have a cordial and beautiful friendship, which is not negotiable. Stupīd!ty is when you compare people when you don’t know them.”
In another post, she revealed that she and her ex-husband lived together for over a year after their divorce. The ex of Linc emphasised that it is stupīd!ty to compare her with another without knowing her. She made her haters know she has zero tolerance for hate and admonished them to take their negativity away.
“One fact about my ex-husband and I, we lived together for over a year after our divorce.
Stupīd!ty is when you compare me to another without knowing me. I have zero tolerance for hate. Take your hate away from me”.
Yinka married Linc in June 2025 and immediately began publicly showing love to Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, a move that did not go down well with supporters of May Edochie.
Last month, Linc had distanced himself from Yinka following her attacks on May Edochie. He made it known that he doesn’t endorse May’s attacks or posting her number online, which had triggered meaningless retaliation. Yul’s elder brother added that it is better to be alone and at peace than to be in a union filled with landmines.
Reacting to his public statement, Yinka expressed sadness at how a man she loves can throw her under the bus over an argument because of fear. Yinka added that since he cowardly embarrassed her on social media, she will respond in kind.
In her first interview, Yinka said she didn’t like how the family threw her under the bus and believes it’s because she is Yoruba. She noted how she was accused of leaking the phone numbers of family members, which she denied. She alleged that Rita Edochie is pretending to be on May Edochie’s side while instigating problems for May behind the scenes.
