There is jubilation in the air for fans and lovers of music star Wizkid and his third baby mama and manager, Jada Pollock, as they expect a baby girl.
Kemi Filani reported in August that Wizkid and Jada are expecting their third child. In a viral video, the heavily pregnant mum of two was seen partying with her friends, as she showed off her protruding baby bump.
Jada later confirmed it as she shared a video of her with her protruding baby bump, along with a message.
Now ahead of their baby’s arrival, Jada’s friends threw her a baby shower and gender reveal party where the sex of their third child was revealed. The couple are expecting a baby girl, which would be the singer’s first daughter.
Taking to social media, many rejoiced with the couple as they stated that the singer’s late mother had returned to life through the girl.

Recall that the Grammy singer lost his mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun to the cold hands of death on Friday, August 18th, 2023. During her night of tribute, the singer, broke down as he gave an emotional speech at her funeral, as he admitted that the pain was profound and it hurts deeply. According to him, it was the deepest pain he had ever felt in his life.
His mother was given a befitting burial which had in attendance several celebrities like Oba Elegushi, billionaire Tony Elumelu, Eniola Badmus, Osas Ighodaro, Kwam1, Wande Coal, Paul Okoye, Banky W, Pretty Mike, Mercy Eke, Frank Edoho and more.
Following her demise, Wizkid expressed heartbreak over her death, revealing that life has been meaningless to him. He noted how he made IDK, one of his latest songs, after his mother’s death because life to him was meaningless despite having 4 kids.
The singer withdrew out of the spotlight for a while and when he made his first public appearance at Bob Marley’s show in the UK, many expressed concern for him over his appearance. Speaking out, Wizkid revealed that since his mother died, he had lost himself. He, however, expressed hope that someday he would feel himself again.
On July 24th, he celebrated her first posthumous birthday by ranting about his emotions. He expressed how he misses her daily and said his life has been empty without her presence and wished that she continued to watch over him and his family. The award-winning music star said nothing would be the same without her.
