Popular Nigerian TV host Frank Edoho has reacted after critics attacked media personality Toke Makinwa for being part of the host in the on-going TV show, The Gulder Ultimate Search.
Prior before now, there were a lot of controversial comments on social media after the female media personality was declared a host alongside a one time winner of the GUS, Oyekunle Oluremi.
Following the criticisms, Toke replied a critic, who had said the viewers lost interest in the show because she was announced the host after declaring every OAPs have their own area of specialisation.
In reaction to the outburst, Toke made it known that it’s a shame that women who should support another are busy trying to bring them down just for an inclusion of a female gender in a male dominated field. Adding that encouraging the young girl to dream bigger than being shadowed due to the negativity of the male dominated society should be eradicated.
In the midst of the war, Frank Edoho, the popular Tv host of ‘Who wants to be a millionaire’ reacted to the critic’s claim over Toke’s involvement for the show’s flop. He said most TV hosts are not restricted to one area of specialization as the analysis is wrong.
Taking his experience as a case study, he revealed that he had hosted the Miss Africa University Beauty Pageant twice in a row, noting versatility is a key role in being a host.
