Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has made an appeal to Yoruba people.
In an Instagram story, the once-controversial actress admonished them to always use English when fighting on social media. Explaining why, she said it would be easier for Internet judges to know who won the fight.
She also admonished Ghanaians to do the same as she told them to fight with English. The movie star further noted how there are different languages on the app and it makes it hard for her to know who won during a fight.
“Dear Yoruba people,
Abeg, when una dey try to fight (especially for this Obasanjo app), make una try dey fight with English.
Omo Language, language everywhere.
How we want take know who dey win fight.
Ghana people una dey this Whatsapp group too.
Make una they fight with English.

Two years back, Destiny Etiko had appealed to her colleagues in the Yoruba industry to adopt the Nigerian lingua franca. The Igbo actress noted how many of them only know how to communicate in their dialect which makes communication very pøor. Appealing to them, she told them to learn how to communicate either in English or broken.
In other news, in December, Tonto had alerted Nigerians about the new scam method. She admonished the public to beware when someone approaches them in public, crying and wailing, accusing them of making a fake transfer for something they allegedly bought. She stated that the crowd would gather, the tension would rise, and one would be forced to either pay up or rush to face jungle justice. The single mother of one admonished the public to stay vigilant and stay safe because outside is wild.
Marking the New Year, Tonto stated that she is prioritizing her family over everything as she vowed to protect them with her life. Tonto said she was ready for war if anyone wanted to declare war over them. However, the actress stated that she isn’t stop!d to ignore their foolishness.
