Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has dragged his colleague and presidential aspirant Yul Edochie for stepping on Naira, notes during the thanksgiving service of Anambra-based Prophet Odumeje.
Kemi Filani News earlier reported that in the video shared on Yul Edochie’s Instagram page, prophet Odumeji was seen clad in a black and yellow agbada dancing and stepping on Naira notes littered on the church’s pulpit.
Reacting to this, Uche Maduagwu berated Yul Edochie for stepping on Naira notes without any respect for the currency amidst his presidential ambition.
Uche Maduagwu, in the post shared on his Instagram page, described the act as a national shame and a boastful mockery of the house of God.
The controversial actor added that Yul Edochie’s father, Pete, will be weeping over the video as he calls on the CBN to sanction the actor.
In his words: You want to become President, yet no fit respect our Naira note. This is a national shame. Nollywood weeps. Dear CBN do something. First it was Obi kunu, now our I want to become President for 2023 ambassador, this is preposterously disgraceful to say the least.
I just hope this video of our dear nollywood colleague triumphantly stepping on Naira notes in a CHURCH of all places is not REAL? What a boastful mockery of the house of God, is the church now a PARTY arena? Sir Pete go dey weep after seeing this, Na my pikin wey we dey look up to become President be this?
