One of the most well-known, successful, talked-about, and adored Nigerian artists of the present is the singer Davide Adeleke, better known as Davido. His “Osuofia in London” outfit at PUMA Runway
It was anticipated that Davido’s appearance at New York Fashion Week this year and his appearance on the runway while wearing PUMA would mark a turning point in the development of his sense of style and grasp of fashion.
Even the photo of the costume that he really shared himself is not all that horrible. It was still open season for Davido when images from the runway surfaced online.
From every direction, insults were hurled, and they didn’t stop. He was addressed as “Osoufia in London,” “This one Davido dress like, Queen Eliza….shey you wan awaken the dead,” and “Portable sef no fit dress like these,” among other things. This group was brutally attacked.

In fact, a lot of reactions to the clothing were completely negative. “You no sabi dress shaaa but your dresses are pricey,” one person said, while “Bigman shey make I kn dey dress you ni” was another.

The issue with this particular outfit was that, as they say, there is a time and place for every outfit. People began to object when Davido shared a video of himself leading praise and worship in this attire in an Asaba church. Someone stated “Why do you dress like this to attend to church, and you even wear kito?,” a person questioned, while another responded, “No, DAVIDO wears shorts and a head warmer inside the church, so…? If you dress like this, your pastor may still suspend you or pursue comot for church because you lack a hammer.”

People couldn’t help but notice one photograph that stuck out when Davido published a set of four photos wearing the same clothing.
People started begging Davido to change that shoe as soon as they saw the picture because the bottom of his shoes are clearly visible in it. “U certainly claim u still fit elevate others like this,” “Boss abeg waiting do your shoe for here,” and “Buy new shoes abeg” were some of the comments made by users.
