Netizens have been finding it hard to digest the death of veteran comic actor Quadri Oyebamiji Tolani popularly known as Sisi Quadri.
Different thoughts and comments have emerged online regarding the actor’s untimely death.
On the evening of 1st of March 2024, news broke out on the internet about the death of Sisi Quadri. His death took a toll on the industry with many trooping out to speak about their relationship.
According to reports, Sisi Quadri died of kidney-related issues. The revelation was made known by blogger, Seun Oloketuyi via his Instagram page.
The actor’s untimely demise was announced by his colleague Tunde Olayusuf on Instagram and his other colleagues have followed suit with their condolences.
Also, there were reports of hospital negligence attached to Quadri’s death but there is yet to be an official statement from his family.
An X user identified as Baadi of Agege tweeted about the the correlation in Sisi Quadri’s death and his death in Kunle Afolayan’s blockbuster movie, Anikulapo.
The tweep sees the event as craziness for the actor to die on the same day the film was released on the streaming app.
He tweeted, “Sisi Quadri died in Anikulapo and died in real life. That’s crazy.”
Lanre Adediwura wrote, “And movie was released on the same day he passed on. That’s what scares me right now about our craft. We just have to be more prayerful as we take on those characters.”
