Nigerian talented singer and songwriter, Simi, is set to drop a new single dubbed Woman.
Simi made this known on Wednesday as she announced that her new song ‘Woman’ will be out on Friday.
Fans of the music star are on the look out as the announcement comes to bare a few days after Simi started the Nobody Like Woman challenge on social media with many female celebrities within and outside Nigeria taken active part in the campaign.
According to Simi, the challenge focuses on helping women reveal all the mean and wrong things that are said about them as well as the tags, stereotypes and the generalised view or preconception about women.
The challenge has been trending on social media since Tuesday and with a song set to be released by Simi on Friday, it is expected to trend throughout the weekend.
In another news, Simi in a previous statement has told fans to stop discrediting her man and singer, Adekunle Gold.
It all started when a fan claimed that Simi writes hit songs for Adekunle Gold on Twitter, a prominent microblogging network.
