Adejare, the daughter of music power couple Adekunle Gold and Simi, has vowed never to leave America.
In a video posted on Simi’s Snapchat page, the couple and daughter were captured returning to the country as Deja, as she is fondly known, vowed never to leave. Declaring her love for the country, Deja promised never to leave it as she expressed how much she missed it.
“I love America, I will never leave, I miss you deeply, I kiss you badly, and I kiss you sleepless”.

In May, Simi and Adekunle Gold celebrated their daughter as she turned 4. Sharing a clip of her and her mini-me, Simi revealed that sometimes she begs God to make more room in her heart because her love for Deja has it bursting all the seems. She described Deja as her light, heart, best friend, twin, joy, and beautiful little fireball.
Adekunle, on his part, penned a sweet note to his daughter as he counted the many ways he loved his daughter. The singer noted that he had been in love with her before her arrival and after, saying his heart couldn’t contain his love for her.
In February, Adekunle Gold publicly appealed to his fans and lovers as he released new music. He revealed that he and his wife were dropping songs and needed to stream them as he noted how he needed to pay his daughter’s school fees.
Adekunle Gold married Simi in 2019, and they welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Deja, in 2020.
A few months back, the couple celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary by releasing their music video. The lovebirds took time to reminisce about the time they spent together for five years. The couple expressed how happy they are that their union is thriving.
