As earlier reported by Kemi Filani, Ruth Kadiri and Omoni Oboli are currently at each other’s necks.
This whole issue started when Ruth Kadiri called out a certain ‘somebody’ for using her artists her movies, just to end up buying views when the movie is uploaded on YouTube. Omoni Oboli replied with a scripture.
In a recent post she made on her Instagram story, Omoni Oboli sent up prayers to God to fight her enemies for her, and here’s what she wrote;
“O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of
him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory”
The fact that Omoni Oboli is using a scripture that is meant to fight her adversaries makes it easy to link her with the person Ruth Kadiri was referring to.
Both Ruth Kadiri and Omoni Oboli have movies on. YouTube with budding actors and new faces in the industry. Ruth Kadiri has celebrated several milestones with her movies, as she has crossed over a million views in most of them.
Not too long ago, one of her actors bought his first car, and she came online to celebrate him for his hard work.
In recent times, Omoni Oboli has also visibly been putting in a lot of work into promoting her movies, and she seems to be doing well for herself.
It is not uncommon for artists to work with different production companies. However, Ruth Kadiri’s pain seems to be that whenever any of her artists features in Omoni Oboli’s movies, their ratings drop because allegedly, she buys views.
