Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie is advocating for single mothers and divorcees as she took to her Instagram page to slam those who criticize them.
She told them to stop talking down on them and tagging them as irresponsible because some of them don’t know the circumstances surrounding the divorce.
She admonished people never to tell her the best way to determine if a woman is responsible for wayward is her ability to be in marriage with a man.
Rita noted how there are millions of single parents and divorcees who are more responsible than most women who are in their husbands’ houses. She stated that these women tend to be productive and resourceful and are capable breadwinners who comfortably pay their bills and that of their kids.
Edochie added that being in a man’s house doesn’t define one’s goodness as a woman and it has nothing to do with being responsible.

Speaking about her release, Rita lectured her followers on the importance of staying safe and protecting themselves from mean boys and men.
