Nollywood actress, Regina Chukwu is set to feed 10 widows during the festive season.
In a post on her Instagram page, she shared a message of hope to widows/widowers noting how she understands the lonely nights, the promise and fail, the sole responsibility, the expectations, and much more.
She announced that she would be buying Christmas chicken for 10 widows who couldn’t afford it and would choose randomly. Chukwu added that this time last year was brave and also this year, God’s grace has been sufficient for her.

I understand the promise and fail
I understand the sole responsibility

I understand the stigmatization
I understand the pain
I understand the trauma
I understand the unanswered questions
Believe me, it can only get better

Kemi Filani reported in December 2022 that Regina Chukwu had gotten a new house, and had narrated how difficult life was for her as a single mother, following the death of her husband and the father of her kids.
Regina recounted how she had to move into her father’s house following her husband’s death because she couldn’t afford rent. She revealed that she had to manage in the same room with her many siblings and parents, had to sleep outside with her mosquito nets, and more.
However, today, her story has changed and God has blessed her and her kids with a house of their own.
Months back, Chukwu had expressed excitement about being a proud mother saying that her late husband would be proud of her.
She said she had a lot of stories to share about her life but would leave it till sometime in the future or probably make a movie about it. The mother of two added she was very sure that her late husband would be proud of her and could beat her chest for that.
