Nollywood actress, Mide Martins can’t keep calm after bagging an outstanding award at the just concluded Golden Stars Award which was held on Sunday, June 18th.
The wife of Afeez Owo won the award for ‘Face of Nollywood’ in 2023.
Expressing gratitude to her millions of fans and supporters, Mide dedicated the award to everyone that believes in her.

The mother of two was left heartbroken as she experienced a huge setback in the movie industry.
The actress, who was supposed to be joyous about the premiere of her movie, Onitemi Part 2, was heartbroken after scenes were cut out from the movie.
Following the criticisms she received, she had to pull down the movie, which was a huge debt for her and her producers.
With the help of her husband who was consoling her, Mide Martins pleaded with the public to re-watch her movie and show her love.
Explaining why the movie was taken down, she said she didn’t like how some scenes were cut off.
In a twist of turn, the movie had hit a million views on YouTube at the time of reporting, which was a good feat for her.

Similarly, her husband, Afeez Owo Abiodun had penned a lovely message to her as he bagged an award months back.
The actor took to Instagram to share the news of the award he got. He won the Golden Stars Award for Best Movie Director of the Year.
Sharing videos of himself receiving his award, Afeez Owo appreciated the organizers of the events for recognizing his incredible talent. Furthermore, he appreciated God, who made him win the award.
Afeez Owo also penned a lovely note to his beautiful wife, Mide Martins, stating she is his backbone and everything.
