The latest development regarding the case evolves around not the accused criminal but the\ lawyer representing him as he has withdrawn his representation from all criminal charges against his client.
The barrister, Olukoya Ogungbeje declared that his decision to withdraw as counsel to Evans were “for personal reasons.”
“For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to state categorically that we have fought a good fight this far despite repeated and sustained threats to my life and my defence lawyers,”
It may be recalled that the said Kingpin was caught in a quite dramatic scene and reports of his arrest broke the internet owing to the fact that he had been declared wanted over the years
