Sonia, the ex-wife of footballer Jude Ighalo, has hailed him for being a good father after he melted her heart with his grand gesture.
In a series of posts on her Instagram page, she recounted how she was craving Kilishi at 1 pm weeks back, and she had told him about it. To her surprise, he sent one of his boys to Abuja to give her the Kilishi by plane. The sweet gesture undoubtedly melted her heart as Sonia advised ladies to find a good man for their unborn children.
In another post, she admitted that though her stubborn head doesn’t make her agree with him every time, she prays that God blesses him. Sonia also gave a shout-out to all responsible fathers, stating that she prays Psalm 128:2 to work in their lives.
In a fourth post, she noted how haters would start crying on her page as she declared that she was the mother that mothered their mama.

Sonia got married to Jude Ighalo in 2009 but separated in 2020 after 10 years of marriage. Since their separation, the couple have been embroiled in social media drama as Sonia hasn’t refrained from taking shots at him.
Giving a hint to their split, she had accused BBNaija’s Uriel Oputa of sleeping with Jude Ighalo, which Uriel refuted.
In December, she announced that she had found love again, by sharing a photo of her lover, whose face she covered with emoji, and gushing over him. She stated that her man had given her the confidence to believe in love again after the many disappointments she went through.
Following her new relationship, she confirmed her marital stance with Jude, revealing that they separated in 2019, but got back in 2021, and pulled the plug in 2022 without his signature. She claimed that the footballer crawled back again to her and she accepted because of the kids. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out because of his family.
Recently, Sonia Ighalo had sent a message to a fan of hers, who urged her to return to the footballer. She let the fan know that she has upgraded as Ighalo was in her past, and issued a warning to her followers stating that she didn’t want to receive such advice or else, she would end up blocking them.
