Since news broke out of the separation between Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele and her movie producer husband, JJC Skillz, several stories have unfolded about the former couple.
One of which was from his ex-publicist who alleged that the former couple used each other.
Speaking out on the couple’s failed marriage, the ex-publicist alleged that their marriage was based on a transaction.
Comparing them with Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz failed marriage, he stated that Funke Akindele only wanted children while JJC Skillz wanted a platform to grow.
According to him, there was never true love between the couple as they were more like business partners.
“Funke Akindele marriage and Bello’s marriage was never a real marriage, it was actually just a transaction. Remember the case of Tee Billz and Tiwa Savage back then, Teebillz was a married man who left his marriage for Tiwa because she was the talent and he saw her as a goldmine.

Funke only wanted kids, which she has gotten. There was never true love. Both of them faked reality, they knew there was nothing real going on between them. They only wanted each other but didn’t need each other.

Also,a lot of netizens have opined that without his marriage to Funke Akindele, JJC Skillz wouldn’t be where he is today because his music career was already dead.
Addressing them all, JJC Skillz took to his Instagram story to share a video of Funmi Obadeyi hyping him.
Funmi described JJC as one of the Afrobeats pioneer.
He pointed out how the new generation kids wouldn’t know him.

Since June, JJC Skillz had been creating awareness and pushing for his entertainment and educational projects for kids, which he was working on Sokidz.
Since Funke Akindele had stopped promoting his business because of their marital issue, JJC Skillz had put more effort into promoting his business.
Hours after he announced his separation from Funke Akindele, JJC Skillz shocked many as he took to his Instagram page to promote his work.
He announced the Igbo version of the educative project.
