Reality TV star Doyin recently took to Twitter to open up about her long standing history with haters.
This revelation comes after she shared an old throwback picture from her school yearbook. Doyin expressed that a friend of hers had shared the photos with her and she could not help but note how authentic some of her commentaries In the yearbook had been.
Doyin shared with her followers and fans that one of her favorite phrases was about her haters eventually becoming her followers. She also revealed her approach back then in high school of ignoring haters until they fade away, hinting at the fact that her experiences with haters date back to her secondary school days.
“I’ve had haters for a long time o, no be today.
They just be like ants wey just see sugar….they can’t just let me be”
The school yearbook entry had people speculating that Doyin had been dealing with haters even during her early years, and these experiences seemed to persist into her adult life. Doyin went on to state that she had indeed faced a lot of haters for a considerable duration, comparing them to ants who naturally get drawn to sugar.
Just yesterday, recall that Doyin had stirred controversy when she revealed her reluctance to date or marry someone residing on the mainland while she is on the island.
She expressed that for such a relationship to work, the person would need to relocate to the island, hammering on the fact that dating someone on the mainland wouldn’t be doable for her. When asked about the possibility of her relocating, she firmly expressed that the man should make the major sacrifice, and she wouldn’t entertain making such a move.
Looking back at the end of the previous year, Doyin had expressed her gratitude to her haters for contributing to her popular status. In a sarcastic tone, she encouraged them to keep talking about her in the new year.
