Afro-pop singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has said that he did not join the protest against SARS.
Kemi Filani News recalls that Davido revealed on his Twitter page that he will be meeting with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) over the current happenings in Nigeria. He tweeted some few hours ago saying “I am meeting with the inspector general of police tomorrow at 10 am …. all my colleagues if u can get to Abuja 2moro before 10 am and follow me to the meeting ! It would mean a lot”.
However, in a short clip, during the meeting with the Inspector General Police of Nigeria, Davido denied protesting when ask why he joined the protestors. According to the singer,only went there to calm the people down because they are his fans.
