Controversial Twitter figure Daniel Regha has once again started a new wave of discussions with his recent statement addressing men who demand submissive women.
In a message, he highlighted how funny it was that some me enjoying leisurely at beer parlors while their wives undergo labor, often without praying for a safe delivery.
He also expressed how some men even cheat on their wives just days before or after childbirth. He hinted at the ridiculousness of expecting submissiveness
“Most men are in beer parlours drinking, gisting & enjoying themselves when their wives are in labour, many don’t go on their knees to pray. As if that’s not bad enough, some even cheat on their wives a few days after delivery. No-one talks about that, but when it comes to women being submissive, everyone has an opinion. Lolz.”
Back in December, Daniel Regha had extended his critique to Nigerian women, specifically targeting Twitter feminists in a statement last December. He accused them of advocating for gender equality only until faced with financial obligations, such as footing Christmas bills. The claim suggested that some Nigerian women practice what is termed “beneficial feminism,”.
Also some months back, recall that Daniel Regha had directed his scrutiny toward major Nigerian networks like MTN, slamming them for their subpar service quality. He argued that the funds allocated for advertising could be more effectively used to enhance network services, ultimately benefiting the masses.
