Nollywood actress, Damilola Adegbite has debunked reports stating that she has plans to write a book concerning her divorce.
This was after she granted an interview with Sunday Scoop which quoted her saying,
“Of course, why not? I never say never. This time, I will be looking out for a man; he has to be a man (in the real sense of the word). I don’t try to foresee things as I prefer to live in the moment.
I learnt a lot from my past experience (in marriage) and I may have to write a book about it. There are quite a lot of things and I wouldn’t want to single out one. If I single it out, it may seem like the most important one when it’s not so; they are all very important.”
However, a new Instagram post from Damilola Adegbite shows her denying ever making such claim. According to the actress who got divorced from Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh, bloggers and journalists must have added that information.
“Thanking God for the peace I have found. NOTHING and NO ONE can rock my boat anymore. @punchnewspapers and at any other journalists or bloggers who take advantage of celebrities granting them interviews in the hope of promoting their craft. Yet you turn it around and slander them. U add information as you please. Continue writing lies. It doesn’t faze me. God be with you.
