Desmond Elliot is a husband and loving father of four beautiful children. The 43-year-old actor was born in Lagos State, his father is Yoruba, while the mother is Igbo. Insider fact is that Desmond’s father is polygamous and has 2 wives and 11 children.
He has being married to his wife since 2003 on Boxing Day, the same year Elliot Desmond graduated from the University in Lagos.
Desmond Elliot’s wife, Victoria Elliot, did not always get along with her husband, especially during her studying at the University of Jos. They had different points of view on the same issue. Vicky Elliot is known as a spiritual person. She has been accepting Elliot’s courtship no more, no less but for eight years, and only in 2003 they became spouses.
Now Victoria Elliot, after quitting the banking industry, is one of the most high rank Nollywood movie distributors. She is not only successful in her career, she is also a careful mother, loving wife and a good housewife. Desmond Elliot loves his wife’s cooking. He says that his darling is a Calabar women and is very skillful in cooking.
Desmond Elliot has starred in over two hundred films and a number of television shows and soap operas. Elliot was born to a Yoruba father and an Igbo mother; because of this, Elliot has described himself as being a Pan-African. He received his primary education at Air Force Primary School and later attended St John’s College, both in Jos. In 2003 he graduated from Lagos State University where he studied Economics.
Elliot was influenced by a friend to become an actor. He started playing roles in soap operas like Everyday People, One Too Muchand Saints and Sinners. He is one of Nollywood’s leading actors, having appeared in over two hundred films including Men Who Cheat, Yahoo Millionaire and Atlanta. In 2008 Elliot co-produced and co-directed the movie “Reloaded” which received 3 nominations at the African Movie Academy Awards in 2009. In 2009 and 2010, Elliot was nominated for the Best Actor category at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
