Social media was on frenzy some weeks ago after a video surfaced in the online community showing Yoruba comic actor Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe, making the revelation that he is battling with a life threatening sickness.
The celebrated actor called on his fans and well-meaning Nigerians to come to his aid and help him raise money to fund the finances for his medical travails.
Later on, the comedic actor was discharged from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and flown abroad for further medical treatments.
However, following rumors that are making round in the online community regarding the reported demise of the star actor, fellow colleague and director of publicity/media of Thearter Arts and Motion Pictures Producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Yomi Fash-Lanso, has dismissed the rumors of his death.
Fash Lanso confirmed that the actor is hale and hearty and only traveled out of the country on Monday, April 22, for a routine medical check-up after his treatment at LUTH.
