Popular doctor and media personality, Aproko Doctor, whose real name is Chinonso Egemba, has shared some information for core malt drinkers all over the world.
He expressed that a lot of people take malt as an alternative to soda because they believe it itI be healthier alternative. However, he shocked a lot of Nigerians with his next revelation. He disclosed that, contrary to what people believe and think, malt also has a very high sugar rate.
He revealed that just one can of malt contains about six and a half cubes of sugar. In the video which he shared on social media, he used the cube of sugar next to him to demonstrate the level and the amount of sugar that one can of malt has. He hammered on the fact that a lot of people believe that drinking a can of malt means that they are drinking a healthier version of soda, but it could not be further from the truth.
Netizens trooped to his comment section to comment on their disbelief, with some humorously telling him to stop advising them.
Now recall that Aproko doctor , back in October of 2023, slammed Nigerians who do not chew their fufu and their eba properly. He expressed that people who don’t chew their food well make it difficult for the stomach to be able to properly digest the nutrients.
In November of 2023, Aproko doctor revealed that the best way to get vitamin C is through peppers. He went on to state that contrary to popular belief that taking oranges will give you the vitamin C that your body needs, bell peppers contain a much richer vitamin C component, which completely surpasses that of oranges. This news was also one that was very welcomed by a majority of his followers, specifically because Nigeria is known as a country notorious for its spicy food.
