A total of 5 teachers have been sacked for allegedly impregnating an SS3 student of the Polytechnic Academic Staff Secondary School Birnin Kebbi
It was gathered that all 5 teachers were sacked while the student, whose name and age was not disclosed, was also expelled from the school.
Upon a discovery that one of the students who is to graduate from the secondary school suddenly got pregnant, investigation was carried out by the management of the school, who set up a committee to handle and decide on the heart breaking issue
Upon a successful interrogation of all the persons involved on Monday, the committee opted to dissmiss the teachers who are said to have been in a sexual relationship with the girl individually and on separate grounds unaware that the student was seeing the other
According to a reliable source;
“The management have dismissed the teachers and the victim was also expelled from the school.
“When the committee interrogated each of the teachers, they confessed that they have been having sexual relationship with the victim separately, so, they were sacked immediately based on the committee’s recommendations”,
As at the time of this report, the affected teacher had forwarded an appeal against their dismissal to the school’s management board.
The Principal of the school, Muhammed Mahuta was said to be in hospital for weeks before the incident, but his Vice, Oumar Woulandakoye, confirmed the development, adding that the affected teachers had filed an appeal against their dismissal.

“I will advise that you should wait till the final report of the School Board, because I just received their memo now that they are going to sit on the matter tomorrow,”
