LeBron Raymone James was born in 1984 on 30th December to a teenager named Gloria Marie James in Akron, Ohio. James refuses to talk about his father. His mother raised James alone on her own. He grew up in poor financial conditions, where he and his mother had to shift between apartments in shady neighbourhoods of Akron, while his mother struggled to get a steady job.
Gloria finally decided to send James to a more stable family and moved him to Frank Walker’s family, a local football coach who taught James how to play basketball. In several interviews, he can be seen thanking the family for his success.
