As part of her punishment, popular Nollywood actress and role model, Funke Akindele has shared a video of herself preaching about social distancing to support the fight against the deadly pandemic coronavirus disease.
Recall that part of her punishment for throwing a house-party amidst lock down is for her to educate people, both in public places on the importance of social distancing to help fight Covid 19.
The 42 year old actress shared a video on her Instagram page recently and she implored Nigerians to stay safe at home and avoid social distancing.
In the video, the mother of two expressed gratitude to her friends, families and fans who stood by her during her crisis with Lagos state government.
She added saying “Coronavirus is real and we all must continue to collaborate with the Lagos and federal government by staying safe at home ,washing our hands regularly and maintaining social distancing so as to contain the spread of the virus”
In her words “A lot of us are so used to ourselves or trusted group of friends that we forget to practice social distancing but trust me , it is very important this period. Prevention is better than cure”.
