Reno Omokri has stated what he sees as the main problem with the order against ballot box snatching given to the military by President Buhari.
President Buhari gave the order few days ago when he said anyone who engages in ballot box snatching will be doing so at the risk of his life.
The statement has however been taking by many as wrong because they feel the chance of such a person to be tried before the court of law has been denied.
Reacting to the order, Reno Omokri stated that it will serve as an excuse for the military to kill anybody.
He shared on Instagram:
“The problem is not with #BuharisShootToKill order to the @HQNigerianArmyagainst ballot box snatchers. The issue is that any soldier can now kill anybody on Election Day and justify it by claiming (whether true or not) that the person was snatching ballot boxes. Even your brother.”
