I live by the Grace of God the Almighty Who alone can make alive.
I lost my father when l was in my early 20s and still in school, but

I am the first born of the family.
All we could afford to kill for his burial was a goat. There was no cow slaughtered.
My paternal family now called us and warned us not to eat cow meat until we are able to bury my father properly.
This was a yoke.
We killed a goat because that was what we could afford.
They did not see reason with us that while my dad was alive, l had to leave the village to look for way out for my life.
Even
after some time , two of my siblings joined me. With that and some
challenges, the church we were attending had to give us space within the
church compound to use.

Gladly we accepted this and we were taking care of the church and the surrounding.
Now, with the issue at hand, we could not eat beef whether cooked by ourselves or we wanted to eat outside.
For 4months, l lived in fear-fear of the spiritual repercussions behind their statement.
But in my fear, l received a scripture, ‘God has not given me the spirit of fear but the spirit of power and of sound mind’.
Do l have the courage to apply this to our situation-my two sisters with me and l.

My Pastor prayed for me and by faith, l started eating beef. God delivered me.l kept a firm grip on the faith.
The Lord gets the last Word, yes HE does.
Today, after several months of my eating beef meat, l feel no condemnation. I have peace.l have victory that only God can give.
And l have joy. Hallelujah
